Music Lessons!
If you know Hakeem, you know he was born to rock! From drums to guitar to keyboard, he’s been jamming for years and is ready to level up with formal lessons. Instead of a pile of presents this year, help fuel his passion by contributing to a gift that will last a lifetime.Our family band name is called the “Stumblebumpskins After Dark” (none of us know how to play an instrument yet we’re in very high demand). When Hakeem grows up he wants to be a firefighter.

Hakeem had his first drum lesson with Mr. Jason at the Community Music School of Springfield when he was a fresh 4. Despite having his own drum set and jamming for hours at home, he was too shy to even pick up a stick during the lesson - though he’s still been talking about that lesson for the last year. Five is the official starting age for music lessons at CMSS. Hakeem’s still deciding between electric guitar or drums and is so excited to learn how to play “Brain Stew” by Green Day.
