Your Web Design Questions Answered

  • Most websites take 2–6 weeks to complete, depending on the size, complexity, and how quickly content is provided. I can create some sites (such as one-page sites and certain redesigns) in less than one week. Inquire to learn more.

  • Websites start at $1,500. The final price depends on the scope of your project. Costs vary based on factors such as whether it’s a small update, redesign, or full overhaul, and whether images, content sourcing, or copywriting are required. I’ll provide a detailed quote after discussing your goals.

  • My website services include:

Strategy: Discovery, determine goals and design direction
Website: Fully functional branded website, including redesign of existing pages (if applicable), development of proposed pages, and creation of new pages/back-end systems as requested.
Optimization: Website will be optimized for desktop and mobile viewing.
Integration: Seamless connection with your email and social media platforms.
Post-launch Support: 2 hours of additional technical support, valid for one year.

Cost does not include third-party costs such as Squarespace or Wix subscriptions, domains, or third-party apps. These costs are rather nominal but I’ll always discuss these in detail upfront so there are no surprises.

  • I don’t charge a monthly maintenance fee because my goal is to empower entrepreneurs and orgs to manage their own sites. • Yes! Both Squarespace and Wix are super user-friendly. I’ll guide you so you feel confident updating content, images, or blog posts on your own.

  • I primarily design on Squarespace and Wix, with a preference for Squarespace. These platforms are user-friendly, allowing you to make updates yourself—no need to call a developer or pay for small changes.

While WordPress is extremely common and works well for large organizations with dedicated technical teams, I strongly believe that small businesses, solopreneurs, and artists are often better served by Squarespace or Wix. From my experience as an entrepreneur running a small company and working with small businesses over the past decade, I’ve seen how WordPress can slow down day-to-day operations when every small change requires developer support. Squarespace and Wix give you independence, efficiency, and speed so you can focus on growing your business rather than managing your website. Many successful businesses use Squarespace (like Pixar and Lyft) as well as Wix (like Walmart and Nikon and many more).

  • I’ll need your brand assets (logo, colors, fonts), content (text and images), and a clear idea of your goals and desired website features. If you don’t have everything ready, no problem—we’ll work together to create or source content collaboratively. I can also handle it myself without your involvement if you prefer (as was the case with 90% of my portfolio).
