This client had a precise vision for her new business. Even with colors, language, stunning imagery, and logo concepts already on hand, the project still required innovative ideas and elevated execution. I refined her original shades of gold and green to add depth and elegance, steering clear of bright commercial tones that can quickly veer into Canada Dry territory. I also introduced a custom font to complement the logo and create stronger brand distinction. To showcase her work, I used a bold layout, intentional image placement, and subtle animations that create a tactile scrolling experience and evoke the same sense of innovation found in her designs. Every decision was made to reinforce the feeling of a high-end, forward-thinking brand. Most importantly to the client, I built out her HoneyBook system from the ground up, including contract templates, an invoicing system, branded emails, calendar scheduling, automated workflows, e-signature collection, and a client onboarding system with a dashboard for her clients to keep track of their event progress. Attracting clients through a beautiful website is exciting, but creating systems that save a business owner hours of administrative work every week is so rewarding.
